The ferrule joint is composed of three parts: the joint body, the ferrule and the nut. Insert the ferrule and the nut sleeve into the joint body on the steel pipe. When tightening the nut, the outer side of the front end of the ferrule is adhered to the cone surface of the joint body, and the inner side bites into the seamless steel pipe evenly to form an effective seal.

When the double ferrule is used to assemble the pipe joint with the main features of advanced geometry design, the front ferrule is pushed into the joint body and the tube can form a primary seal, and the rear ferrule produces a hinge effect inward to align the card. A strong grip is formed between the sleeves. The geometry of the rear ferrule facilitates the hinge-clamping action of the front ferrule, which can transform axial movement into radial squeezing on the ferrule.
Design advantages:
The double ferrule separates the sealing function from the clamping function of the ferrule, and each ferrule is optimized for its corresponding function. The front ferrule is used to form a seal: a seal with the outer diameter of the sealing ring of the joint body. When the nut rotates, the rear ferrule will push the front ferrule in the axial direction, and the front ferrule will exert effective ferrule clamping force in the radial direction.
